Villa and park are part of an association active in the field of cultural relations between Italy and Germany
In 1829, Mylius acquired a villa on the heights of Menaggio, which has been enlarged and embellished over the years to house its rich collections of paintings, statues and precious furnishings. This is how a museum house is formed, which thanks to the care of the descendants Vigoni, has remained intact until the present day. A vast English park designed and built by Giuseppe Balzaretto surrounds the villa, offering an environmental naturalist setting of rare beauty : orchids, ancient trees, panoramic points, exotic essences constitute a unique heritage
Every Thursday afternoon you can take part in a guided tour of the park and the Villa Mylius Vigoni.
The guided tours will take place either in Italian or in German or in English based on the participants.
